There isn’t always a lot to report on in the NRL at this time of the year. We’ve worked through the State of Origin stories to come out of the Rugby League World Cup and just hit the ‘calendar blunder’ portion of the offseason. With the ARLC soon to meet and make a handful of decisions on the 2023 NRL season, speculation around everything from conferences to ridiculous rule changes will do the round up until Christmas.
Within all of that is the odd piece of interesting or valuable news. A young player making a run at a first grade jersey, players moving between clubs, or coaches hinting at who is likely to start where in Round 1.
